Thank you for taking the time to browse through my website!
A little about me.
I started sewing at the age of nine. I had a Barbie that
absolutely needed the ultimate outfit, and so the sewing lessons
began. I recall the dress didn’t really turn out how I wanted, but I
liked to sew, and was told practice makes perfect so practice I did.
With the help of my mom first, and later my Auntie Margaret (one of
the best kept seamstress secrets of Northern Ontario!) my sewing
ability grew. I spent countless hours down in Auntie Marg’s basement
learning how to sew properly, and when you did it wrong, how to pick
it apart so it could be done the right way.
My family never had a lot of extra money, and I couldn’t afford
the popular brand name show clothing, so a lot of what I had was
home made. I understand the need for a great custom look without the
"homemade" appearance, and the need for an affordable price, and so
I spend extra time bargain hunting to try and pass the savings onto
you, the customer.
I now have almost 20 years experience in sewing. So if you have
any questions please feel free to send an email, or give me a
call!
